I accidentally chose "yes, FCKeditor" while editing an article and now I lost the visual gui to edit an article. I found the setting under TP > Settings > Use the WYSIWYG editor?: > and chose no. Yet It still will not take me back to the default gui interface on an article.

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks!

I'm confused, what exactly about my post is not clear? The subject states the nature of the problem and my post lays out what I did and what is wrong.

I'll try again then I suppose ...

- When creating an article, there is the ability to use the WYSIWYG editor's
- I chose "yes, FCKeditor"
- This removed the article gui editor
-- I want to bring back the gui editor
- In an attempt to resolve the problem, I found a setting under TP > Settings > Use the WYSIWYG editor?: > and chose no.
-- This made no difference

I am not sure what to do from here to bring back the visual editor for articles instead of it being a code box.

Thanks

Oh and I'm using SMF 112 and TP 97 if it helps.

Thanks again.

This is exactly what I was looking for! The posting guide is there so that people will hopefully post the appropriate information so that we dont have to ask the extra questions just to get to that point. Had you posted your versions in the first post I would have told you that TP 0.9.7 had this bug. If you update to TP 0.9.8 this will be fixed. Or you can try the suggested fix.

Ok so I am having the same problem only my editors across the smf site does not function any more.  I am using smf 112 plus .98 of TP with the current version of scribbles.  For some reason I am unable to get wysiwyg functionality in my editor.  This worked before I installed TinyPortal but not after.  Has anyone else encountered this problem??

I have tried all editor settings in TP to no avail.

When I mouseover any editor button my browser shows:
javascript:void(0);

Obviously I'd like the editor and TinyPortal to work together. :o

Any suggestions for a dummy like me??? :P

Zetan

javascript:void(0) is a normal function... not an error.. hover over the upshrink buttons in the left menus here at TP.
You will see that they also have javascript:void(0) on hover.

hmmmm

I still am unable to make the buttons work. I guess I'm glad the message is not an error.   :'(

Any one have any ideas why my install does not work correctly?? Are there some super secret settings (obvious to knowledgeable folks) tha I need to deal with (aside from the ones in TP????).
