Download manager feature request: Upload point system

The title says it all!
Like a karma, but user earns points when uploading.
What do u think? Is it easy?

as i said it's like karma it serves great purpose for people who like to use it.
In my case although, (a students' site) I want it to motivate students to upload notes from lessons, old exams, projects, homeworks etc.

it would serve a purpose if the points could be used towards downloading. like you get 3 free downloads before you have to get more points to download more.

I can't promise if this will be in, getting it to work properly is number one priority first I am afraid.

First comes the DM itself
