My site at the moment uses a front page with some left blocks and the center blocks gives an intro etc. with no right blocks.

However, due to the sites topic being new and some what confusing to some people, I need a "newbie" frontpage with very simple basic info. Is it possible to do this with TP so it still displays the top section (login and info area) but to then have no left or right blocks and just a html page as the front of the website? I'd then have a button on this front page saying "Enter the Community" which would take people to the current TP frontpage.

Sorry if this is confusing. This is what I have now: http://www.welshbockers.co.uk
and the frontpage i wish to have would look something like this (I've had to turn the headers into images to show the effect I'm after):

thanks

Matt

If you put the content into a front page blocks, can be as an article in each block, you can choose the membergroups that will able to see these blocks. If you set one to guests and noobs, the other to all the remaining member groups I think you will have what you want.

Not exactly though. I dont want to hide anything from either guests or members.

I think what im asking for is a similar to a splash intro page that some sites have (not with TP) but I'd like to keep the original header section from the forum with the register info and links. I'd still like the HOME link to come to the community front page I have now.

hmm :/

Doing what Noko suggested you can achieve this. You don't have to hide anything from guests or members.
