If you look to your left on this site, you'll see the TP with its blocks such as User (expand.gif); Tools (expand.gif) TP site or..., Links, Themes, etc.

How to I get to lower the whole TP. If it's to high for my site, I'd like to be able to lower it or put it up higher up at will. So that it starts with "user" and "tools" for say, 200 pixels lower then where it is presently on this site.

I'm not sure if I'm clear enough. I mean the whole TP lower, not as high.

How do I do that? If you can point me to the code in whatever file it's in, I could probably do it myself maybe? if not... if I have to add a code somewhere.. It must be somewhere already, the TP doesn't just randomly got on "top" or does it! I just need to find the damn thing. Stylesheet edit maybe? Naah. I suck at this. Anyone knows?

Let me start over then:

We don't fully understand what you are asking Arankar.

If you mean shrinking and expanding the header, what is possible depends on the theme you are using. In the default theme it is controlled in - TinyPortal - General Settings>Show userinfo/news at the top

If you are talking about the shrinking and expanding of blocks in a sidebar there is a setting within each block - Allow block to collapse, if this is checked then the expand/contract option is available for that block, each block has to be set seperately.

Hope that helps

What I'm refering to is the position of the whole thing. Of the Blocks, of the whole bar in general. For example, you've got the first block with "user" written on it and a little gif image for "expand" right? And then you have other blocks which one choses to put there according to what he puts in his block manager.

What I wanted to know is, how do I keep all of this, but lower in positionning on the wepage (<td heigh 260?>). The position of that first block of the TPortal sidebar not so high on the webpage. It shouldn't matter which version I'm using, there needs to be somewhere a little code or something saying td height of something... I think, hmmm.. Ok here's snippet of code for that specific bar within the index.php:

     echo '
                 <div id="leftbarHeader" style="',
empty($options['collapse_leftbar']) ? '' : 'display: none;', 'width: 160px;
margin: 0px 0px 0px 20px; border: solid 1px #d0d0d0; background: #FFFFFF;
padding: 10px;">';
                 TPortal_sidebar('left');
              echo '</div>';

If I change the color of this, from #FFFFFF to #000000, the whole Tportal sidebar will turn black. What I want to know is how to regulate the height of the TPortal sidebar on the webpage. I'd like to lower it by a few centimeters. Not the padding... but it's position in the overall webpage.

I'm not sure how else to explain it. Let's just say, I want the TPortal sidebar to be in the "middle of the webpage" or something along those lines.

That code looks like it is from an old version of Tiny Portal. The current version, 0.983, code is:

// TinyPortal integrated bars
          if($context['TPortal']['leftbar'])
          {
              echo '<td width="' ,$context['TPortal']['leftbar_width'], '" style="padding: ' , isset($context['TPortal']['padding']) ? $context['TPortal']['padding'] : '4' , 'px; padding-top: 4px;padding-right: 1ex;" valign="top">
                 <div id="leftbarHeader"', empty($options['collapse_leftbar']) ? '' : ' style="display: none;"', ' style="padding-top: 5px; width: ' ,$context['TPortal']['leftbar_width'], 'px;">';
                 TPortal_sidebar('left');
              echo '</div></td>';

          }

Is the attached picture the effect that you want? If it is you need to change this part:

padding-top: 4px;

In the picture it is  'padding-top: 40px;'
