I did not see a post that suggested/requested this, but for the Show forum-posts lets you choose 5 boards for the Frontpage.  What about either a check box or setting to use all boards and/or one that allows you to use a board and all child boards?

There is a hack in here some where on how to add more forums to show.
Try to do a little bit of search in the block code and snippets or development where we are now.

Yeah, I did see that and was going to try it.  I was just suggesting a use all feature.

I was thinking about the same headline for my post here, so I put my whish in here. ;)

Regarding the

  • "Allow guests to see news from the news board - even if guest are not allowed to see the board? "
  • "What to show on front page: Forum-posts and articles - sorted on date"

I want the forum posts to show up even though guest are not allowed to read the actual posts. They work as teasers then   ;)
