Hi,

I just installed the crip's backnblack tp theme and now I get this at the bottom of the page...

QuoteFatal error: Call to undefined function tportal_version() in /www/110mb.com/g/r/o/u/n/d/p/o/groundpounders/htdocs/duck/Sources/Load.php(1726) : eval()'d code on line 427

and tinyportal isn't working...

I'm not sure what to do here.. any help would be great..

my site is - http://groundpounders.110mb.com/duck/index.php

-Thanks

Ok.. I searched around (thanks for the link..) and it looks like either 1) I don't have a compatible theme for SMF 1.1.2, or 2) TP isn't even installed... I'm leaning towards #2..

I haven't installed or even downloaded TP 0.9.8, I can't get it to download anyway, I just get a empty file when I hit 'download' then 'save to disk', it's just an empty zip..  - This is why I was thinking/hoping that the backnblack theme I downloaded today was everything in one (tp + theme)....

Any idea on why I can't download the TP 0.9.8 zip? If I could figure that out, I might be able to get somewhere on my own here...

This is frustrating  :-\

You should try another browser if you can't download it. Also, anti-virus or firewalls can get in the way of downloads sometimes. If you don't have tinyportal installed and you're getting the tportal_version error, you are using a theme that is made for tinyportal. If you replace it with the regular SMF version of the theme you won't see the error.

Alrighty, I got the manual install downloaded and I'm just about set to go... I need one last thing before I can start- code editing software.. I saw that Areanae was recommended, but I had no luck with Google, couldn't find it... I did find one called Evrsoft, will that work? Or is there a better one (free) that's easier to use? ease of use is a big plus here, I've already got a brain cramp lol..

btw.. that manual install tutorial is great, and the support here is top notch  8)
