what has happened to my site. themes dont look right.

i signed on over the weekend to find some changes to my site. i have been using mirage theme for a month now on this site thefirm360.co.uk. it is running version 1.1.2 with 0.98 TP
i had checked mySQL admin via my control panel and could not get on, this has been resolved while i was at work on sunday. so i can access it. my tables are there and all looks fine.

i have the same problem with my other forum i use to test mods. this on dont run TP but the oxygen theme do not want to work correctly. i have tried to reinstall the theme on both forums and not been successful. the clan site above is now using the default theme from SMF and this is working fine. but i have the oxygen theme still on my other forum my test forum and you can all see it is not ment to look like that.

Looks like you don't have the correct theme meaning you need the TP theme of Oxygen found here http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item617

i am not running tp on that forum so dont need the tp version of the theme. if i was to put oxygen or mirage on my clan site that does run TP it is looking similar to my test site. this has happened over the weekend. and i am the only one that has access to both forums. and both are having problems. i have not used my test forum in a month. and use my clan site forum regually. yet both have suffered the same problem.

Seems to me your host has messed stuff up could you try to reinstall everything on your test site? see what it looks like after, I take it you have backups

i have on my clan site. not much of worht on the test site so not bothered lol. ill reinstall.

If you're having problems with SMF I would suggest you post your questions over there. As it is we can barely keep up with TP support. Thanks.

I've had a look at your clan site and I can see a couple of problems with the blocks.

The content of the PS3 Song block is wider than the sidebar. In IE7 the overflow is distorting the centre section. FF2 renders things a bit different, the overflow overlaps the centre instead of distorting it, but the front page article with You-tube is aligned left instead of centre.

i am reinstalling it and will put up the back up when done. thanks for your help. i did post there but not got much of a reply. so i came here. you know how it is. but after a couple of days  you need to look elsewhere. for a solution.

Well, we are full of TP questions here as you can tell. Thats why we are no longer answering SMF specific questions so that we can keep up with what this site is all about.

well i wasnt sure if it was a tp or smf problem im having hence why i have posted on both and one of the guys there did direct me here for a solution. just like you said go there. so both sites just sending me in circles.anyway you can stick this a solved one if you want.
