I did a brief search but really didn't find what I wanted. What I want to do is this... I have added section to my forums that is for political discussion. By its very nature, I am sure it has the potential to get a bit heated.
What I am after is when a user joins that board I would like a popup or some similar item that will post a disclaimer and that has to be closed before entering. I don't really know if this is easy to do or if there is a code snippet ( I looked ) or a link to something similar to this. Figured I would see who has any ideas... :uglystupid2:

Sorry Grumpy, but that is really an SMF issue and not a Tiny Portal one, I suggest that you ask about that at the SMF Community forum.

Dazed

Ok, I wondered if it could be handled through TP or not. I will see what I can get for advise over yonder... :)

I haven't seen anything that will do something like that, however, you can post a sticky that includes the disclaimer.

Using the "pm on registration" mod you can advise new users to read the stickies or whatever else you wish for them to know.

I'm confused a sticky for what?

Skhilled

Create a sticky at the top of each board stating what is expected from users in that board.

Never mind I just removed the post I made. I was looking for my other topic over the smilies and posted it in this board by mistake... I seem to actually have confused myself... :2funny: :uglystupid2:

Like that was hard to do. LOL
