categories sub categories not working?

I set up subcategory A and subcategory B, both subcategories of Category 1.

I link an article to both subcategories, then create menu items for all three --

Categorty 1
--Subcategory A
--Subcategory B


Clicking on each subcategory shows the appropriate article.  But clicking on Category 1 says "no article found", even though it's pointing to something that contains two subcategories with articles.  Shouldn't it be showing the contents of all nested subcategories?

If not, what's the point of being able to nest categories?

Nested categories is not working the way Bloc intended right now. Its on his todo list just so you know.

It isn't quite as I want it yet no.

About the logic here...if correct it should actually display the 2 subcats and still no articles, because they are not "in" cat1, only in a subcat of it.

But as said, this will be better adressed in TP 1.0.

that's fine, i just assumed it would show all the articles because the page looked like it was set up for those and not some different means of display.

There is no date or deadline because work on the next version is an ongoing process that will take however much time it takes.
The short answer is, "When it's ready".
