Site of the month questions.

I was wondering, say if your site wins the site of the month.  I would imagine that you would pick up a lot more traffic.  If your site was on shared hosting, could it keep up with the amount of traffic it could gernerate?  What about bandwidth?  How much of an increase would you see?

I don't imagine the SOTM generating enough hits to require significant bandwidth or traffic increase. Just my $.02 though. Depends a lot on your content and how much people will be loading.
