I installed TP ok but now I cannot get into the admin control panel at all and the forum is in maintenence mode, it wont let me sign out and in again or anything :( :-\

What did you do to get to this point? Did you change anything like themes, or add a mod? Did you add a block and get this problem? Please be more specific so we can help you.

Gti-Nicky

Sorry, no I didnt add any themes or mods or anything. Infact I just followed the instructions on the manual TP installation and then installed the TP and now it wont let me get into admin cp or log out or anything, I don't know what happened to be honest with you?

IchBin

Can you browse the forum? Is it working at all? A link to your site would help us to see what the problem may be.

Don't listen tto much to what I say but if you go to smf forum and ask there you may get help. It seems to be the forum that is the problem.

Possibly get the repair_settings.php and run it it--assuming you can connect via ftp.

When you run it you may be able to turn off the maintenancs mode and log in. ask over there in smf forums--install or administration

I can only tell you what I would do. It can't hurt to try...

whoops!!! Just saw IB is on the case---Q-out

I can see the forum but not look at any of the topics or anything it just comes up with a error message saying "Unable to load main template"  :-\ I can't do anything on it at all, nothing seems to be working, am tempted to do away with the lot and start again from scratch tbh  :( but to be honest you wouldn't be able to see my forum as it is in maintenence mode so would be bit pointless giving you the link wouldn't it? or would it? :-\ thanks in advance for any help :)

Thanks for your help but wouldn't SMF forums just tell me to come here and ask for help? Spose it might be worth a go though, thankyou :)

To get the forum back and running i think you is best of with reuploading a new set of the files you changed when you installed TP

When you have done that, proceed with TP install again, but this time, leave the forum open and not closed

Well I fixed my last problem, just re-started from scratch ;D but I have another couple of things to ask... I cannot find the icons for the following stats box, could someone point me in the direction of the folder etc they will be please? :-\

The other thing is, how do you use the Gallery feature? ???

Many thanks in advance xx ;)

This should probably be a new topic but...
Check your ftp and see if you have the following images in the following places:
(path to your theme)/images/icons/members.gif
(path to your theme)/images/icons/info.gif
(path to your theme)/images/icons/online.gif

If they aren't there, then just redownload them from the theme you have. It must not have been a complete download.

I don't use the Gallery Module. I used the
SMF Gallery Lite Mod. You can get it HERE

Good luck!  ;)
