I'm not using TP? Since when?

My apologies for not using the template of posting in the showcase, that is my fault entirely, but it got locked for not using TP? That's completely odd.

Just what the heck is this, then?

Again, my deepest apologies if it turns out there's a criteria to be considered using Tinyportal and not, but last I checked, I was. I haven't implemented most of the outer blocks yet because they never really caught my attention (though I might use many of them on the actual main page of the site, which I haven't built yet). However, the code is definitely TP, although I have played with the layout files quite a bit. Admittedly, my modifications to the TP theme files are nowhere near as complete as my modifications to my SMF theme files ;)

I'm sorry, I just don't get how my site isn't running TP (the site in question is http://www.thevgd.com - or more specifically, http://forums.thevgd.com )

Perhaps someone can clear this up for me? Thanks much.  8)

I really don't want to get off to a bad start with this site.  :-\

I went to that site after Lesmind locked the showcase thread.

I could not see TP installed, and the reason were that you have  the copywrite for Bloc and TinyPortal.
So IF you use TP, why have you removed the copywrite for it on your site ?

You have NO right what so ever to tamper with the copywrite for the software you use.

OoTLink

I haven't tampered with any copyrights o_O All of the parts that use the forum have the SMF copyright. If Tinyportal has its own, that can be rectified. When I installed TP I was already using the highly modified theme I have, so many things didn't show up, no surprise the copyright didn't either.

Relax, it wasn't intentional. I'll fix it right now.

As G6 has said no copyright.. see att image

QuoteI haven't tampered with any copyrights

You HAVE tamperd with the copywrites of TinyPortal, so please dont even go there.
You have removed it, placed your own copyrite, and also you seem to know how to build and change bots site and code, so you DO know what you have removed and what not.

Not even the TP pages as the Help section have the copywrite at the bottom of the page

OoTLink

There, my apologies Bloc!

G6, I did those modifications BEFORE I installed TP dude, like I said, it wrote the copyright to the default theme's index.template.php file, so I never really noticed it.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention, it's there, and I hope you can forgive me, heh.

I'm copying that into my other sections of the theme too so all the bases are covered, and to make up - the forum/portal copyrights are at the top instead of the bottom of that message now :)

Lesmond

Thanks OoTLink :) I'll open your topic ;)
