This is maybe simple problem..but i cant solve it.
Directly to the point, my problem is the shoutbox.
When people write something then click shout! while viewing some topic, after the page refresh it return to the homepage. Not at the topic..

Anyone can help me???

You may test to shout here http://www.d-community.com/portal/

Strange..it should return to where you are really. Are the TP there a new installation? or updated from an earlier one?

d-topia

I updated to new one...First my smf version is 1.1.1 then upgrade to 1.1.2, my tp is 0.9.7 then updated to 0.9.8 .

Anyway this problem happen before i upgrade everything.

Where is the coding for the shoutbox at?

bloc

TPortalBlocks.template.php is where the redirect code is.

erm it seem i found what cause this to happen, but not really.Im not sure about this.

This is what cause the problem..Very simple, just a little setting to the forum.
At admin area >> Configuration >> Features and Options >> Search engine friendly URLs(Apache only!) .. When I enable this setting, it cause page to redirect to the homepage when they click shout. Then i disable it and everything seem to be ok..
I`ve tested with tp0.9.8 and smf1.1.2.

Also about the shoutbox...My Advice   ::)
When people writing a new topic, at the same time they "play" with the shoutbox..
It cause page refresh(when click at the shout!) then they lost what have they wrote eg. reply topic or new topic..In circumstance i test the shoutbox in IPB.
Yeah it not like what happen in tp.
I hope the next release of tp could be able to settle this... :tickedoff:
