Restrict Downloads to Post-based Member groups?

Is it possible to restrict a download category to a post-based membergroup?  I only see the regular groups as selectable when I create/edit a category.

Currently you cannot add permissions based on post groups. I'm not sure if Bloc has plans to even do so.
