hi i have tried putting the code in a center block for my front page but get nothing can someone tell me what i am doing wrong. i used the code at the beginning of the thread. help please!!

Probably a silly question, but did you unzip the seasons folder, and upload it to your forum folder.  At bottom of first post.

At the bottom of that first post there's also a zip to download.  This contains all the snowflake images, and all the other necessary bits to make the block work.  You need to download this zip unzip it, and then upload folder to your forum root.

it saying not a valid pkg and become corrupted. uploaded to forum root but won't work at all any suggestions pretty please

This is not an SMF mod. Just unzip the file and put the files in your forum root directory. Put the javascript into a javascript block. That's it.
