vsftp setup for SMF and TP

The only one remaining issue for my SMF run is to set up vsftp in Fedora C6 so that all ftp related will be resolved.

Thank you for the info. Do you happen to know how to set up vsftp on Fedora C6, or source of information? I installed vsftp but do not know how to configure to meet the demand of SMF usage.

Sent to me i havent recieved any message, and nor have i replied to it exept that you could ask IchBin, Ray or Thurnok as i think they are the only one in the team that could give some replies to you.

A little OT, but JFYI... G6 ain't a 'He'.

not 100% sure on fedora 6, but on most distro's vsftp is anonymous only by default.

modify /etc/vsftpd.conf: enable local_enable and write_enable and then restart the daemon (/etc/init.d/vsftpd restart - or reboot).

you might have to change the default umask as well - not sure what smf needs.
