Hello, I just set up my first TP site and I am liking it.

I went to edit my modules, specifically the link manager and when I clicked on it, I get "Not implemented".  So the question of the day is, what does that mean and what do I do about it?

Thanks a bunch.

JPDeni

It means it is not implemented. The link is a placeholder for where the Link Manager will be when it is implemented. What do you do about it? Wait until a later version of TP.

And turn all but Download module to off, that way they dont bother you eather  ;)

I apologize I don't think I explained this well.

Do you see the box on the left named Links?  This is what I am trying to do, is have a box like this, that I can have a few little banners in.  However, when I clicked to edit the link in the manager, it said not implemented.

Can you post a link to your site so we can see it for our selfs.

You can create a block like that using html. Either use an html+bbc box or a scriptbox and put in your own images and links.

Ok, thanks I will try that.  Still wondering why these all say not implemented when I click on any of them.

Because they're not yet implemented. They are future features, the code for which has not yet been written. Just ignore all of them except the Downloads Manager.

Ok, I understand now, thanks.
