I'm building a new forum and I just installed tinyportal yesterday. I just went to view my profile and got the following message

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tpsummary() (previously declared in /home/content/l/u/m/luminalala/html/luminalalaland/Sources/Profile.php:2942) in /home/content/l/u/m/luminalala/html/luminalalaland/Sources/Profile.php on line 2992

I don't know anything about php coding so I have no idea how to fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I want to go live with this site very soon.

I'm using SMF 1.1.2 and the DilberMC theme if this makes any difference.

G6Cad

Can you please post a link to your site ?

Brain malfunction....

Dont need the link, that error generates from duplicate code from the TP install.
If you used the old package that were posted in the forum before Bloc released TP V.097, you have the version of TP that didnt remove code when you updated this time.

What you can do is to download the premade zip file in the install board (sticky post)
Extract the files and then upload the files and overwrite the old ones, that will bring the forum to a fresh TP setup.
NOTE!! That IF you have any other mods installed that uses those files, you have to reinstall them again when you have done this.

Im on the move to day, so fast is good i think

lakelady

the TP I installed yesterday is .0971

next suggestion?

G6Cad

What i wrote, download the premade zip file, extract the files, upload and overwrite the old ones, and refresh the forum :)

lakelady, this is usually the result of installing the TP mod twice or it not unistalling properly, and then you installing it again. It leaves duplicate code, hence the error. Check the install board for the files G6 is talking about.

tried the manual install etc with no luck so I went back to a pre-TP version of the board (SMF 1.1.1), upgraded to 1.1.2 and started from scratch with TP and all seems fine (so far), except now I can't install themes :(

ok, the profile was working until I made DilberMC the default. Now I'm back to square one. Is there something about the Dilber theme that's causing the problem?

-edit-

changed the default back to the core SMF default theme and still have the problem so it's not the theme after all.
