Cant help it, just need to jump in here with you guys and give you my hugs in this  ;)

Yes we do have a big theme support on this site, but thats about all it is, Support on Themes, not support on how to actually INSTALL them  :coolsmiley:

The theme installer is SMF engine, we provide a lot of FUEL (themes) for that engine, but the fuel makers dont know how the engine works all the time, so thats why we send them to the engine maker who have the knowlage of 100% to how the engine works, and WE as fuel makers, only know about 50%, Just about as much we need to actually get the fuel working for the engine  :-*  :-*

Im out of hugs now for this thread  ;D

Zetan

* Zetan passes power hugs all around :D
I'm going to step out of this thread now.

Gooooood gosh!

What kinda verbal goolash is this thread...

I asked a simple question, which should have been answered on this site.  I DL the theme from this site.  It maybe SMF, but it's sure as heck TP too.

So, where is the pain to just mention in the FAQ?

You upload the friggin' zipped file through the theme upload and the file will be installed server side

...or somthing like that.

I still appreciate great support on these boards and a happy crew administering it.

A chill pill and try to look at it for what it was ? A bit of "joke" perhaps  :-*

As you can tell, its not such simple thing. Yes we were joking, but thats to make it fun around here. Is that ok with you that we have a little fun? Now that the fun is all taken away lets really talk about this. Why should we have to do what is already done? Why should we have to do SMF support here as well? We support our themes and mod here as much as humanly possible in our FREE time. So why whould we reinvent the wheel?
