Everything seemed to be running fine until my themes started acting up to the point of only the default would work. A fresh install of SMF 1.1.1 and TP has now been done. I have tried re-installing a few of the TP themes but still only the default one works. I'm at a complete loss right now and would really appreciate some help if possible.

I am getting alot of the following errors - public_html/404.shtml

This is my first forum experience and it hasn't been an enjoyable one so far that's for sure. :tickedoff:

                                                           Thanks.

Well, I check in his forum error log and he have over 119 page's or more.

I did the fresh install of the forum and TP.  But didn't work at all.  I thought it's will and sovled  all the problem he is having.

And any idea's please?

Im thinking that you actually install the wrong theme versions to your forum.

To be able to check to give you a fast reply would have been to have a link to your forum, but as you havent applied one for us, we can only guess, and my guess id wrong theme versions for your setup.

Set the forum to use SMF DEFAULT CORE, then uninstall all other themes exept the 3 default that comes with the SMF package (Core, Babylon, Classic) then by FTP go in and remove all the theme folders for the themes you installed so they are gone from the theme dire. only leaving the 3 default themes.

Then browse to the links and look up the TP themes that will work with your site.

For correct themes, check

    Hello.

Thanks for responding. I had someone take a quick look and was told that my host server is now running in safemode which is probably causing the theme issues. Yes, after the complete re-install, i made sure the few themes i did try were TP themes. I did notice however, because of my lack of experience, that i removed all themes except for the smf default. Meaning, i don't see 'Babylon and  Classic' listed in my forum CP under themes. Just Default Core. Could removing Babylon and Classic from there cause any problems?. They still appear to be sitting on my host server though.

IchBin

No removing them won't cause any problems. You may also want to look into this.

But i thought TP install on Babylon  theme some?

I try to unstall tp before I did the fresh install of SMF and TP.

It's said a file is missing from theme Babylon

    Hello

Being a newb and not completely understanding what was wrong, i had someone take a look and it appears it was permissions getting changed that was the cause of my problems. I gave the link provided above for him to look at and don't think it was all that was needed to fix the issues but was my understanding that it helped so Thank You very much.
