How to restore SMF and TP?

I just got smf and tinyportal and arcade with other mods. I am having trouble restoring my forums.I have a godaddy hosting account. I've read some of this topics but for some reason i cant get it. Some more advice may help and is well appreciated.  www.fiteclan.com

I am able to downlaod the files and tables but i dont understand how to uplaod them back as a backup. The way i do it is i go to forum packages and upload it as a package but i dont see any change. Am i doing it right or can you work with this to help me out.Any advice will begreatly apprciated.

To restore your forum you'll need to read the docs first. For us to reinvent the wheel everytime someone has this question is really not needed. Everything you need to know is in the docs at SMF.

I understand what you mean no one wants a wheel made of rocks unless its the Flinstones. If we put it another way and someone helps me out it will be like they were a hero like Superman for saving my forum. If anyone out there is willing to guide me the you will be my hereo or heroin. thanks

I have Ventrilo and TS. Send me a pm with the info and a time, preferably in Eastern time and I will give you a hand. I agree with IchBin, but I have been helped many times so maybe I can help with a brief overview. I am not familiar with GoDaddy. Everyone has given you the procedure but I sometimes need to hear it rather than see it. I will try to get you pointed in the right direction but there is still nothing better than the sense of accomplishment when you get it done yourself. Sometimes you cant see the trees through the forest so I know where you are coming from.. :coolsmiley:
