Wow, How does it keep its self balanced? How much does a chair like that run, I imagine it has to be in the 1ooo's

Lesmond

Crip

Cost around 43k -- (believe it or not) -- however insurance pays all, the balance I'm unsure of..but I'll let you know more once my buttocks is in one..Lol.. :)

I imagine it works in the same way as the Segway to keep balance. $43k?!?!?! Holy smokes! :o I know you can't really put a price on independence but dayum, they make it hard if not impossible for those without insurance.

EDIT: Well, I suppose if I had watched the videos to begin with. ::) It is made by the same guy who invented the Segway and that is indeed how it works, using gyros and computers to maintain balance. Also, one of the videos says the chair only costs about $26k. Still a lot of greenbacks but much better then $43k. ;)

Crip

But with all the Xtras I need it will still cost my insurance 43k, since I'm a Quad and not a Para, the regular setup wouldn't work for me...lots of xtras for me..Xtras cost plenty too!
