I have gone into the TP Settings like a billion times and have selected a editor to popup and work. The articles still have no editor, and neither do the blocks :P
I am hoping to fix this but am not sure, if I need to post files let me know which ones :uglystupid2:

+ 1 question....
I did the manual install for TP097 so it would work on my smf 1.1.1 forum a while back. I want to know what files I delete on this manual install so I can install via package manager next time. :D can anyone find this out.
The manual install may not have included the editors and might be why they're not showing up as well ???

You need to go into phpMyAdmin for your site and edit the database.  Go to the smf_tp_data table (smf_ is the default SMF dbprefix, yours might be different - just make sure it is the tablename that ends in tp_data).

In that table, browse the rows.  Find a row that has column type set to 2 and column ID_MEMBER set to <your member id> (you can get your member ID number from the smf_members table, or in the SMF member list itself).  The  value and item columns are probably both 0.  You can simply delete this row from the smf_tp_data table, and you will once again have access to your editors under that member.

Hmmm im confused. My member id is 1 so I delete that row and i also delete another table that has 2 in the type? or is the only one i delete the one that has the id 25 and value and item both zeros?
I need clarification :)

- What I did was filter the smf_tp_data table by type
- When I got to the row that had type 2, then I looked for my ID_Member, in your case '1'
- Then I checked that it had value and item columns at '0'

Select only that row and delete it    :up:

MY DB is mixed up or something.
The row that has type 2 and item and value 0 was the one with the id set to 25 and member id set to 9:
Code (Entire row coppied in order. id  type  ID_MEMBER  value  item) Select

25 2 9 0 0

The row that has 1 in the id has the row like:
Code (Entire row coppied in order. id  type  ID_MEMBER  value  item) Select

1 0 3 0 11

@Brian
It's not the id column you need to look at, its the ID_MEMBER column.     ID_MEMBER is your user id number.  Since your user id is 1, you need to find a row that has column ID_MEMBER = 1 (in this case your member id) and column type = 2 (type of 2 is the editor preference).

If you cannot find a row in the table matching, then you have a different problem.

The value column portrays which editor you have chosen as your personal preference.
0 = No Editor  (hence the problem because it prevents you from getting the editor selection radio buttons)
1/2 = FCK
3 = WhizzyWig

The item column should be 0.
