Wondering if it's possible to call SSI functions from within a php-block?

Xarcell

I believe so if I understand what you are asking.

I can create a phpblock called Boardstats and enter this code in teh block:

ssi_boardStats();

This displays simple boards stats.

gijs

hmm, it's that simple... I tried some things but must have done something wrong myself... but thanks for the help :-)

For Recent posts..

ssi_recentPosts();

This will work.

<?php ssi_recentPosts(); ?>

This will not.

Just strip out the stuff thats not needed.

Xarcell

Ya, you gotta leave the php tags out, that's what starts and end sthe phpblock. You just don't see it.

ssi_topBoards(xx);  ....same here
ssi_topTopicsReplies();
ssi_topTopicsViews();
ssi_topPoll();
ssi_todaysBirthdays();
ssi_todaysHolidays();
ssi_todaysEvents();
