I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you creating TP. It's sooooo much better than any previous CMS I've used before. It allows me to add rich content and entertainment to my favorite forum software, SMF.

In fact, I think you've started something unique. I believe it's just a matter of time before other developers start creating something similair for thier forum software of choice. It seems to work better this way Since forum software is the most extensive to maintain/upgrade, it's only better to create a CMS around a foruml software instead of the other way around.

Other CMS's I've ried using in the past 2 years, but didn't like because of intergration.

Postnuke, phpnuke, myphpnuke, renegade-cms, mambo, mkportal, wordpress, drupal, civispace, typo3, exponet, xoops, tiki wiki, website baker, phpwcms, yacs!, joomla, e107, and runcms.

I have looked at quite a few, not as many as Xarcell, but even with 0.6 I was hooked on TP.

Xarcell nailed it ... I've been thru most of those CMS's as well.

If you have a site that is very forum oriented and want to add a CMS - the community will revolt if you convert to those CMS's as their native forums are typically 1st generation forums.

Actually it started as a way to show off SMF..since the theme system is so powerful, with php code embedding and all, it was tempting to start from there.

Totally agreed that forum software is the "key". Most start with it, and just want to expand it. To start fresh with an CMS and then add the forum to play second fiddle, seems like a step back. If you really need a cms, then of course. But if not... 

Anyway, thanks again..this great feedback is very motivating.
