i put this whole code into a phpblock on the left side (shows up on every page). i've been getting a LOT of CPU QUOTE EXCEEDED messages on my site (which shuts it down for a few seconds)

i believe it's because the block is being called on over and over and over again which causes a lot of cpu usage.

didn't think it was this block until one of my members got:

so i disabled it. is there another way to see the members in chat just as easily as this one?

I would love to have a chat status box for Integrated Chat 2.3.

Has anyone done it for this mod?

I tried it using code from my boardindex.template, but it didn't work.  I would just say, 'There are currently people talking in the chat room.' instead of 'There are currently 0 people talking in the chat room' where 0 would change to the number of people actually chatting.

There is a link somewhere that block posted that allows you to show who in the chat rooms. It calls from an Iframe...

Here's what I used, but I think I may have alterd it a tad. I don't remember. Copy and paste it in a phpbox.

global $boardurl;
echo '
<iframe frameborder="0" height="100" src="', $boardurl, '/chat/info_embedded.php" style="width: 100%; margin: 0; padding: 0; border: 0; overflow: hidden;" scrolling="yes" border="0" allowtransparency="true"></iframe>';

I got this error message inside the block:

Not Found
The requested URL http:// was not found on this server.

I tried changing the path someone, but I still got the same error message.

oops, change the URL to the location of your chat program.

oops, change the URL to the location of your chat program.

Do you mean this whole path - http://www.avalanchestyle-test.com/forum/index.php?action=chat

That path opens the chat session.

Close..., you need to find the location of your "info_embedded.php" file within FlashChat.

Not the chat program itself.

Wondering if anyone uses flashchat AND has found a way to host moderated chat events with it.

By "moderated" I mean spectators submit comments/questions which go to the moderator who selects which ones go on to the guest who then responds.

Spectators comments/questions do not show in room unless approved by moderator and such...  I hope you get the idea.

Any assistance appreciated!

I think that is a question you should ask the developer of Flashchat.
