Something went wrong with my most recent installation of smf 1.1.1 and TP9.7.  I can't install new themes, and I get a blank page when I try to access the packages to remove it.  How do I remove it manually so that I can try again?

well if u cant access the package manager AT ALL then ull have to do a RMMU (reverse manual modification & uninstallation)

step 1: set forum to default core theme

step2: follow mod instructions in reverse http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=7884 and remove all TP edits

step 3: go in via PHP myadmin and get rid of the TP tables usually prefixed smf_tp

smf_tp_articles
smf_tp_blocks
smf_tp_data
smf_tp_dlmanager
smf_tp_settings
smf_tp_variables

step 4: delete all TP files using your FTP manager

the smf_ prefix may be different if u had used a custom prefix upon install.

but before u do all of that please do take a full back up of your database

If it's not too much trouble, I -really- need that set of instructions for manually removing Tinyportal.

TP does not show up in package manager anymore, and I have done the other steps on this list to no avail. I am trying to integrate SMF and Subdreamer CMS, but the forum-wrapping integration keeps erroring out due to TP code modifications in the templates, apparently.

Can someone please make that link above work again?
I keep being told I'm "not allowed access to it, or it doesn't exist."

Thanks,

Here ya go docwahoo, the link below will take you to a 'package parser' page.
Just follow the directions on that page and it will give you a page of instructions for installing TinyPortal... do those in reverse to remove all of the TinyPortal edits and files.

EDIT: On a closer look I see that it will give you uninstall instructions as well.  ;)
