Chip asked me how did I install OnLineUsersToday in my theme so I thought I would also post it here for others if they need

if you dont have -move the default BoardIndex.template.php to the themes folder you want to use.
then
before you install it make sure you make it compadable with RC1
1. open yor zip file and change the package-info.xml to have this line
<install for="1.1 Beta 3 Public, 1.1 RC1">ÂÃ,
then put the file back in the zip file and it should install ok into the default theme. Then all you have to do is change the lines below in the BoardIndex.template.php file in the theme you want to use.
<search>
ÂÃ,  ÂÃ, // If they are logged in, but SP1 style information is off... show a personal message bar.

<and replace with>
ÂÃ,  ÂÃ, // "Users online Today"
ÂÃ,  ÂÃ, echo '
ÂÃ,  ÂÃ, <tr>
ÂÃ,  ÂÃ,  ÂÃ,  <td class="catbg" colspan="2">', $txt['158bis'], ' ( ', $context['num_users_today'], ' ', $context['num_users_today'] == 1 ? $txt['user'] : $txt['users'], ' )</td>
ÂÃ,  ÂÃ, </tr><tr>
ÂÃ,  ÂÃ,  ÂÃ,  <td class="windowbg" width="20" valign="middle" align="center"><img src="', $settings['images_url'], '/icons/online.gif" alt="', $txt['158bis'], '" border="0" /></td>
ÂÃ,  ÂÃ,  ÂÃ,  <td class="windowbg2" width="100%"><span class="smalltext">', $context['user_today'], '</span></td>
ÂÃ,  ÂÃ, </tr>';
// If they are logged in, but SP1 style information is off... show a personal message bar.

ÂÃ,

hope this gets you going

ÂÃ,  ÂÃ,

also

In this way they have to replace two times the same part.
