Hey i've just converted from phpbb to SMF and have just now installed TP :) What an excellent package well done to all you developers. I'm currently running a totally standard install of SMF 1.1.1 and the newest TP. I've run in to two problems.

1. I had SMF Gallery installed before TP, after i installed TP the link to the Gallery has gone missing from the menu. How do i get it back?

The second issue isn't exactly a TP issue but i wanted to use SMF Arcade with the TP blocks. Only problem is www.smfarcade.net doesn't exist any more :(

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Smf arcade hasnt been paying there bills... lol :2funny:
You can find smf arcade here on smf.

TP should always be installed before any other mods just for the tip but since you have already done it...
Go into your themes index.template.php and add in the menu links as the home, and forum buttons are there, just replace the text[167] or whatever it is with GALLERY or Gallery depending on style of your theme. And replace the action with gallery. :)

hey brian much appreciated :) Its a learning curve when you start playing with new environments like this :D

I've installed the SMF Arcade now, but it has no games and is unable to connect :) i really havent got a clue what to do from there.

For the arcade you should probably see Simple Machines Community but I will give you the most of it. :D

Admin>>Arcade>>Game Installer
You will check the games you want to be installed. Go to www.arcade-only.com and download games from the Download section (you might have to join). Open your FTP to your forum root and upload the games you downloaded from Arcade-Only to the folder called Games in your forum root. Make sure it has an icon for every game so it will look cool :coolsmiley:

I installed the arcade today and i'm running smf 1.1.1 w/ tp 9.7
I can see menu links in the classic mode, but not in my theme mode??
other then that my admin panel seems fine just need to upload some games, any ideas?

for custom themes (apart from classic and core) u always have to add buttons manually

here is a guide on adding buttons

its very simple so dont worry

optionally many peple opt to create a side menu and add the links there to new mods they install, instead of at the top menu.
This just provides ease that they can easily edit the block to add more menu items in mins instead of having to edit templates.

So which path u take is ur choice  if u have further q's just ask away
