Ok, well I found out my website which is in the homepage = / is taking all the files from the old place = /forum and when I use repair_settings.php and change the paths so I get rid of the /forum in the urls and directories, I get:

Warning: main(/home/content/b/j/w/bjwilson/html/Sources/QueryString.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/b/j/w/bjwilson/html/index.php on line 49

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/home/content/b/j/w/bjwilson/html/Sources/QueryString.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/content/b/j/w/bjwilson/html/index.php on line 49

Any ideas???

So does the file QueryString.php exist in your Sources directory?

brianjw

No it didn't. It was weird because when I uploaded everything out of /forum to / it worked and got the page except the nneono's shoutbox got like 9 errors in it and at the bottom it says the SMF Copyright has been removed... lol :2funny: I don't even know where and how to remove the copyrights on themes, mods, or this smf software. Any ideas?

Sounds like your move on the files didn't go as well as you thought. Missing copyright is usually the result in corrupted or missing language files. I would suggest you upload a fresh set of files.

Check your theme file paths and URLs. Those are not changed by repair_settings.php or by changing things in settings.php. You need to change those manually through the Admin interface. Since the language files are with the theme files, it sounds like that might be at least part of your problem.
