randy.

my software being used is

Powered by SMF 1.1.1 | SMF Ã,© 2006, Simple Machines LLC
TinyPortal v0.9.7 Ã,© Bloc | XHTML | CSS | Aero79 design by Bloc

This is a picture of what i want to do. I'm going to have my main menu on the left hand side. So when someone clicks the "Directory" button my introduction page will show up for that particular section, but i want to have links or a menu above that which will have sub sections to the "Directory" area. So that each button/link will show the article from that button on the main page. So the menu should look like

introduction | Map | Transport etc etc etc

i would be so happy if someone could help me :o)

I have this menu set up in center block, and it also blends in with your theme, set this up in a script bloc
<table style="border-collapse: collapse">
<tr>
<td class="maintab_back" width="48%"> </td>
<td class="maintab_back" nowrap="nowrap" valign="top">
<a href="http://www.yoururl.com">name</a>
</td>
<td class="maintab_back" nowrap="nowrap" valign="top">
<a href="http://www.yoururl.com">name</a>
</td>
<td class="maintab_back" nowrap="nowrap" valign="top">
<a href="http://www.yoururl.com">name</a>
</td>
<td class="maintab_back" nowrap="nowrap" valign="top">
<a href="http://www.yoururl.com">name</a>

</td>
<td class="maintab_back" nowrap="nowrap" valign="top">
<a href="http://www.yoururl.com">name</a>
</td>
<td class="maintab_back" nowrap="nowrap" valign="top">
<a href="http://www.yoururl.com">name</a>
</td>
<td class="maintab_back" nowrap="nowrap" valign="top">

<a href="http://www.yoururl.com">name</a>
</td>

<td class="maintab_back" width="48%"> </td>
</tr>
</table>

Ok go to admin>TinyPortal>Center Blocks>Add Center Block>click the radio "scriptbox"> then click save> in the Body paste the code I gave you above and name it what you want, click on "Do not use title/frame"
click save again, then click "activate" in your block settings and set it to 0
Or you could pm me up with a temp admin and I will do it for you.
The choose is yours :)

You can see how mine looks by going to my site (look at my sig)
