i dont get it... i put the exact code into a scriptbox and it just shows up as normal links... no difference to them just words

it depends on the theme you're using.  on some of my themes the menu is in the theme's colors and in others like Helios, it's just the words that are links.

In your current theme if you have .gif buttons in your nav bar,this mod wont work.It will only show links.

Maybe generating new buttons to the theme youre using and modify the file to this mod but i dont know how and im not sure if it'll work.

Very nice and very simple. Sure beats using html in a global header :uglystupid2:

It's a way around editing every index.template.php for all your themes navigation when you can have controls at the top and the submenu (this) and have all the features :D

Also I have a question..
My code is:
<table style="border-collapse: collapse">
<tr>
                <td class="maintab_back" width="48%"> </td>
<td class="maintab_back" nowrap="nowrap" valign="top">
<a href="http://www.brianjwilson.com/index.php?action=arcade">Arcade</a>
</td>
<td class="maintab_back" nowrap="nowrap" valign="top">
<a href="http://www.brianjwilson.com/index.php?action=guestbook">Guestbook</a>
</td>
<td class="maintab_back" nowrap="nowrap" valign="top">
<a href="http://www.brianjwilson.com/index.php?action=gallery=">Gallery</a>
</td>
<td class="maintab_back" nowrap="nowrap" valign="top">
<a href="http://www.brianjwilson.com/index.php?action=shop">Shop</a>
</td>
<td class="maintab_back" nowrap="nowrap" valign="top">
<a href="http://www.brianjwilson.com/index.php?action=chat">Chat</a>
</td>
               <td class="maintab_back" nowrap="nowrap" valign="top">
<a href="http://www.brianjwilson.com/index.php?action=tpmod;dl">Downloads</a>
</td>
<td class="maintab_back" nowrap="nowrap" valign="top">
<a href="http://www.brianjwilson.com/index.php?action=team">BWA Team</a>
</td>
<td class="maintab_back" width="48%"> </td>
</tr>
</table>

What would I set in the block settings for this snippet for it to display everywhere? Out of these

It automatically shows everywhere unless you set it to display in one of those categories.
