TP Lite Version ??

i love TP but the problem is, its taking too much queries.. and my database cant take it.. how about if you lower the queries of TP or make a lite version with only the block feature???
is this possible?

Well I guess if you only wanted the blocks but to make the database smaller you would not get articles either.

If you have issues with queries on the server i think you need to check on your content you have on your site.
TP as is, only use the queries it needs and what you have activated. So if you dont use the articles, downloads and so on, it wont make any queries for them eather.

when i still didnt have tp installed.. im getting 8 to 15 queries per page only.. but when i installed tp, it became 30 to 35? im not using any of the features, only the blocks

can any one pls check my site then tell me which block is taking most  the queries?

for ALL that you have 19 queries, and you complain about it  :coolsmiley:
If your host server cant handle that, i suggest you eather change host or stop using a forum and portal and go for a simple html text page with nothing that require  DB at all..

yes its 18 queries (for the guest only) but when you login, it becomes 20 to 37 queries.. huhu..

Then provide us with an test account so we can see what  you have enabled when we are not guest there.

But from the view of it as a guest, you probably have other mods installed aswell, and not just SMF and TP.
