A little chat is never a bad thing.  Yes, r/c choppers can be a bit... well... crazy. Sometimes they tend to explode in mid air. Just adds to the fun 
Generally they are pretty solid if you know how to build and maintain them properly.

I missed the reference to e-powered in your previuos post...

R/C aircraft are a gas. It is quite common for guys to bring out the R/C toys after we  get done flying for the day and the traffic is done. Those things are so much fun to watch.
