Hi there.
Look this thread: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=135616

In the next SMF version there will be an article system! Users may uninstall TP if an article system is installed by default on SMF. What do you think?

Lesmond

I don't think the OP doesn't like tp, or at least thats the impression I get :o

Wherw inb that thread does it actually say it's going to be included in the next SMF version?
Only thing he said were that he is writing a MOD for an standalone article system

There has been a static pages mod for a while, adding them to SMF would improve SMF, what are the Help pages if not static pages of a sort.

There is a lot more to TP than just the articles.

by the way i put the tiny portal link on purpose :2funny: even though i read the part that he docent want a TP link :2funny:

lol..I guess TP has become more than "tiny".. ::)

About resources, he does have a point there, although i am not sure he talks about TP. It does need more optimising, especially in the core files. Work to do there. :)
