For Frontpage layout - My layout "A" is identical to "B" and "D".

I cannot find this being an issue anywhere, so it must be something I am doing.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,

bloc

How many articles are displayed on the frontpage? actual ones?

3 set to show front page (actually about 12 total) - currently "C" configuration.

There is some issues with so low numbers..could you try for example 5 and see if its the same?

ok, np, I added one more as an experiment but didn't change anything.  I will add more and get back to you.

Update - Layout "D" started working once I added 6 articles. "B" still doesn't work.  I'll add more.

D configuration displayed like this:

X     X
X
X
X
X

Shouldn't they be like this?

X    X
X    X
X    X

Update#2 - Layout "B" started working at 7 articles.

B configuration displayed like this:

   X
X    X
X
X
X
X

I suppose there is no way to make them like:
  X
X  X
X  X
X  X

Thanks,

bloc

Soooo, is there anyway to change the way the articles are poplulated.  Like maybe left to right filling rows before columns?

Just curious.

Thanks,

They are supposed to do that..but I need to check why not, if they don't.

at my forum Layout B works fine with 5 articles. the only thing i noticed is, if the newest article "is one day old" it doesn't stay on top of the others but wents over to the left column. To keep it on top i set the wanted article to fixed.

You mean set as featured?  I did that and still doesn't populate correctly.

I'm going to play with it some more and see if I can figure out why the columns populate first (at least on my site that is)
