Tabs don't display correctly in Opera

In the default theme for this board FF works fine and I would assume IE too. However, Opera displays the tabs at the top slightly different and wraps the text from top to bottom!

I have noticed it on a couple of themes. It happens on Aero 79 as well, white-space: nowrap; on the tab strip or button row will stop it.
