Rss doesn't work

Hi, I just installed TP and all works great, but I can't make rss work. I tried two or three rss (first of all reuters) but the block shows only the title (empty block)... Any suggestione? I'm running TP for smf 1.1 rc,  and I tried to add from TPAdmin an rss block in the frontpage... thanks in advance, Ale

Sorry maybe I was wrong...
RSS block are usefule for generating rss feed?
I supposed it was for parsing...
The feed I tried unsusefully to use was :

http://today.reuters.com/rss/topNews

That works fine here...got todays reuters news just fine in a rss-block?

Some servers won't allow fetching of outside feeds..that might be the problem if you can't see anything.

In localhost works fine me too... maybe I have to chmod some files to 777 or is totally unfair (it dipends for the remote server)?

I'v tried rss news with 1.05 smf in the same server and I got this error:

2: fopen(): URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration
File: /membri/intergames/Sources/TPortal.php
Line: 1030

There is nothing I can do?

I do believe this is something to do with your host. You may want to ask them what is causing that error and if they can enable file-access.
