need to uninstall to upgrade my forum please help

When I do "uninstall" all my mods on SMF rc3 first, including TP 0.96, wonÃ,´t my DB tables and all I did so far in TP, like Blocks, be gone too ?

Please let me know. I wonÃ,´t update til i know.

And one other thing, I still always mess that up in my head. When I do use in my case the small Update to 1.1Final of SMF, I do need to execute the upgrade.php anyways or only when I do the larger update ?

When you Upgrade SMF all your mods will be gone, so no need to uninstall any mods before you upgrade.
The forum will go back to all default and you have to add the mods in after you upgraded. And just as a note, start with Tp as it's probably the largest mod you will install to your forum, it's easier to apply smaller mods by hand if nessesary then TP

This answers some questions, thx. But unfortunately not all.

- Will I loose my blocks, my articles and all TP related Stuff in the Database when I uninstall TP 0.96 ? Because I donÃ,´t want to loose all that.

- Do I have to use the Upgrade.php after uploading the SMF1.1 Update (small) Files to execute the Update or only when I do the bigger Upgrade, since there are 2 kind of Updates.

Could you clear this up for me too ? I would appreciate that.

Ok, one thing is cleared then. So uninstalling TP at all will not make me loose any of the DB stuff of TP.

As i said, NO, you will not loos any data what so ever during the upgrade, the installers simply add and update the DB, it wont delete anything
