One of my admins upgraded from SMF 1.1 RC3 with TP v.0.9.6 to SMF 1.1 . . after the upgrade TP has disappeared, it's not even listed on the Admin area . . do we need to reinstall TP or does it just not work with SMF 1.1?

SMF 1.1 Gold just needs to see the the characters "1.1" in the package-info.xml file.

Did you install TP to RC3 and then upgrade RC3 to 1.1? If so, you'll overwrite the RC3 files that 1.1 changes. It's the same with every other SMF mod.

So, if that's the case, you'll need to reinstall TP to 1.1. But, yes, you'll need to do as chosenfool said to get TP .9.6 to work with SMF 1.1.

If you install the Latest TP version again it will work fine. :)
I had the same thing.

Every time you upgrade SMF you loose all the mods installed in the FILES. The DB is still there, but the files gets replaced with new ones, so all mods have to be installed to SMF again.
When you do, make sure you install TP first, and the other mods after TP
