2 domains running on 1 database?

hello all

i've 2 forums, each running on different domains (both have the awesome TP installed ) but is there a way to link the two forums through a single database?
meaning when one user signs up and posts on one forum, the same post is replicated on the sister forum - is that possible?

anyone tried it before?

You could conceivably have two domains run off the same database, if you wanted the content of the two to be identical. Seems redundant to me, but there could be a reason for it.

This is really an SMF thing. You should browse / search there. I remember seeing this question asked there before.
