Smf Streaming 3 mod compatibility with TP 0.96 & Smf 1.1?

Streaming 3 mod
Works only for the default theme, and any theme that uses the default post.template.php. This Mod will allow users to add streaming video and sound (real, quicktime and Windows Media) to their posts with support for rtsp and mms.

Make your own modification

Unpack the mod, then rename
stream-gv-1.1rc3.mod

into

stream-gv-1.1.mod

Open package-info.xml

in line 47 replace <install for="1.1 RC3"> with
<install for="1.1">

in line 58 replace
<modification type="file" format="boardmod">stream-gv-1.1rc3.mod</modification>
with
<modification type="file" format="boardmod">stream-gv-1.1.mod</modification>

change line from 75 to 79 with

<uninstall for="1.1">
      <readme type="inline">This will uninstall the streaming 3 mod, are you sure?
      </readme>
      <modification type="file" format="boardmod" reverse="true">stream-gv-1.1.mod</modification>
   </uninstall>

then create again the pack (i've made a .tar.gz cause smf seems don't like .zip packages maded by Linux) and install as usual

My question is, how do I know which TP 0.96/0.95 themes use "default post.template.php"?
I'm attempting this today on askabker.net to see if I can get it to work,,,fingers crossed!!
wish some luck, this would be so awesome if it'll work..
Any input?

Thanks!

update-failed attempt

Install after applied mods went very well.

features kinda weird with Helios_multi.

Default theme was as advertised.

adds insert buttons in between flash & image.
I couldn't get any videos to play in a post.....

Un-installed flawlessly!

Haven't tried yet on the fianl smf version....Good question

Couldn't even get it to work in the Default theme.

I think I've found a solution, something that bears closer attentions...
TinyWebGallery 1.5.....what is it with the "TINY Simple" stuff?
Using an iFrame php article, this has real promise!

Please.. Can you take the other mod questions to the SMF where you got them from ?. This site is all about TinyPortal mod to SMF, and not streaming or other mods.
If you encounter problems with other modifications, you have to ask the mod author from where you got the mods for help. Perhaps they havent had a chanse to update the mods for the new SMF version or similar.

Thank you G6! You are awesome!!
