Centerblock on Forum, but not Frontpage

Is this possible to do? I'd like to use a centerblock on top of the Forum and found that I can shut it off for all my other pages/articles, except for the frontpage. The only option I see to shut off centerblocks on a frontpage is to turn the option off completely where the centerblock will not show anywhere at all.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I am sure it would be possible... but you would need to fiddle with some code to do it no doubt. (I cant think of a way to do it using menu's)

You can assign the cener block to only show when specific actions are invoked, eg... only on the forum

Edit the center block and towards the bottom, look for the section called "Show for this action
(custom action name)" and choose "forum"

Hey, I got it to run on the main page of the Forum. I did notice below it you could choose to show it on a select board. Any idea why you cannot select all boards?

No Idea why there isn't an "all" option but for now, you could create multiple copies of that center block and assign each one to a different board.

I've also tested this with a "scriptbox" assigned to a specific board in the "Show when inside this board " field with all other options set to "none" - works fine!

Just make sure that anything in your script or html that's path specific has an absolute, not a relative value.

Well I set up a centerblock to view on the 'Forum' main page as well as in ONE of my boards (The Cafe), using a scriptbox.

Show for this action (custom action name): Forum
Show when inside this board: The Cafe

Then I attempted to set up another script box and chose:

Show when inside this board: Announcements

However for whatever reason the centerblock will not show...

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? I even tried it with:

Show for this action (custom action name): Forum
Show when inside this board: Announcements

AND

Show for this action (custom action name): Unread
Show when inside this board: Announcements

and still nothing...

Any help would be great

any ideas guys? I'm still stuck with a scriptbox in the centerblock and it works for my main forum page and in my board 'The Cafe'. I can't get the centerblock to work in any of the other boards.

I'm still using:  SMF 1.1 RC3 and TP 0.9.5. ...does it work in a later version maybe?
