Help Needed: How do i get these two scripts to show the message icons ?

So i have these two scripts.. one is on the frontpage and the other one is on the boardindex..

The one on the frontpage shows recent topics from categories of my choise. The other, on the boardindex, shows recent posts from all categories..

My question is how to get both scripts to show the message icons in front of the message/topic title ..

Im not really good at php so i will put the two scripts here and maybe someone can fill in the missing code for me 

Would really appreciate it alot

With the first one, by the time it gets to printing out in your foreach loop, the code for the message icon is in the array variable $post['icon']. So if you wanted it to appear in a table cell after the cell with the board name, you would use the following

Thanks alot - I got it to work on the boardindex.. and that was what i needed the most.. but i just could not get it to work on the frontpage.. no big deal.. i think it might not look very good there anyway.. but on the boardindex it looks great.. so thanks a 1000 times for helping me out... again
