Problem after installing 0.96 over 0.86 and SMFRC3

I had SMF 1.1RC2 with TP0.8.6.
Then I upgrade to SMF1.1RC3
and then tried to upgrade also to TP0.9.6.
The auto-installation didn't work so, I tried the old good way of manual install.
I uploaded/overwrote all the necessary files
then replaced TPortal.php with the fixed one,
run the Tportal_upgrade.php which gave no errors.

But the problem was that I didn't have any TP bar on the left,
or any other of the TP feautures (not even the TPADMIN link).

I found the premade manual install

files and replaced mine with those.
The TP bar showed up but some problems still remain.

-I don't have the TPADMIN link
-In my profile the TP functions links don't work

-The pms don't show up on the header of the page like they used to.

The theme is the new SMF default theme.

You did greate, and every thing right, exept one little thing

You used the wrong package of the premade manual files i;)

Find the same files you uploaded from the first package (the wrong zip) and remove them, then upload the ones from the link i posted here instead

Well, if i just upload the files in attachment they will overwrite the wrong ones don't they?
I mean i don't have to remove them firstly, do I?

No nothing happened.
After looking again and again I found that I have downloaded the correct file
I only gave the wrong link.
So it's not that the fault.
Any other ideas?

From what theme did you upgrade the forum and portal?

hm, was it smfone_blue
or the core(default) theme of SMF?
Can't say for sure

The thing is that the error you get is with in SMF and not any of the TinyPortal files, so are you sure you didnt get any errors from the upgrade before you installed TP ?

To be honest I didn't check the error log before upgrading to TP,
because I have forum in maintenance and made the two upgrades one after another.

But I do have TP problems, as I said in first post

I get "Unable to load the 'tpgallery' template." and so on

Forget the thing with TPadmin link it is displayed normally in other Themes,
but the functions I told u, still don't work
