I go ahead uninstlaling modifications that fail at removing at modifications.english.php, as it only contains variables, and if the mod does not exist, the variables can stay and won't cause harm.

Well..  I have tried and it's not any better.   If someone has the time to help I would appreciate it.   If you want to have a look at the errors and stuff just pm me and I'll set you up with admin username and password..    Thanks.
