Style.css help needed plz

I Installed everything OK. Tried my own stlesheet from my main forum with TP. But I get a grey background behind the right and left blocks (see the screenshot below). How can I change that to white to match the rest of the page?

I use the SMF Default theme, with some changes to the colours on the stylesheet. Latest TP Beta for SMF 1.1B3.

The background for the sidebars is hard coded in indextemplate

background-color: #D4D4D4;
