path for tinyportal

Apologies if this has been answered before but I havent been able to find it.

I already have smf installed on our server in a /forums/ folder and when I install tiny portal that is also in the /forums/ folder however I want to have tinyportal running in {domain}/index.php and then forums to remain in /forums/ is this possible?

Hopefully this makes sense apologies once again if this is in an obvious place i literally can;t find it.

TP is a mod of SMF, it is not a stand alone application. It will not work like you are asking.

If I recall, simple portal may do something like that if you'd like to take a look at that mod instead.
