I've noticed these little hints around here and there that TP 1.0 is close to release. Close seems somewhat undefined......

So my question is...
Does close include a possible Christmas present of a new version release for TP?

I normally don't ask such things and accept the "When it's done answer," but I'm excited for the new release. Plus the fact that I happen to have some free time at the end of the year, so umm, well it would be a perfect time for me to play with an update.

Before Christmas? I seriously doubt it.

However, TP 1.0 is soooooo far ahead of TP .98, that some of you won't recognize it. I promise it's well worth the wait.

The downside for most of you is that it will not include any modules. Simply because we wanted TP to be as ready as it can, so from after it's release, we can focus 100% on modules. No more backtracking.

The biggest upside will be that it will work with 99% of SMF themes. TP themes will no longer be needed. You can use strictly SMF themes and TP will work. There are major upgrades to the article system(didn't care for articles before, but now I depend on them), but too much to mention here. You'll just have to wait.

Kudos to Bloc for busting his fanny lately with it. He's worked really hard with it recently and we're making great progress.

before x-mas, I highly doubt it. Almost certain. But maybe soon after...

Yes, the download module will be intact, but the Gallery and team page is left out.

Yes, we aren't removing anything. We had hoped to add additional modules for TP 1.0 but decided to concentrate on the core of TP, articles and blocks.

TP Will be out when Bloc announce it, no time table given, no date given.
Whats in it will show when you have it.
