Seems to be language strings errors, did you have any other languages installed and set as default when you upgraded ? And what themes are you using ? this is so confusing caues there is no TP admin link in default.

fugi

My forum has an other language installed but
I always use English as the default language to avoid such issues.
I also used english while upgrading.

Well, i think this is only going to be solved by starting over.
If you download the update package for SMF 1.1rc3 and extract the files and then upload them manually and really make sure they all get uploaded correct with no broken files. (Backup settings.php and settings.bak.php)
And then do the same with the manual TP package ( need to upload and replace the premade files again as you replace all the files from SMF, dont delete any files, just overwrite them all )

Then download and upload the repair_settings.php from simplemachines.org downloads/tools section and point your browser to the file, follow the steps (it shows what files need to be writable to) and then refresh the site and see if you are home free

What's the purpose of
dbmanual_tp_install.php
Maybe to run it?

At now I don't care so much not having the TPadmin link,
but I care more not having the tp functions in my profile.
Maybe if I run the above file some necessary tables will be created which will solve my problem?

fugi

I think that i'm close to the solution of the problem.
What permission should the files
TPgallery.php
TPdlmanager.php
TPlinkmanager.php
etc have? (they r the files of the TP functions)

G6Cad

No they have nothing to do with Tp just yet.
They are only dummy files (not implemented)
I really do hope thats NOT the TP things you think you are missing out on now fugi ???
I will not talk to you for a year ahead if thats what you have been trying to get to work in your forum ?

fugi

See my first post:
-In my profile the TP functions links don't work

Are those dummies?
Please, show mercy!
:'( :'( :'( :uglystupid2:

G6Cad

Gallery items is a dummy file.
Go in to your admin section and turn that module OFF same for the link and staff module, they are not builded in yet, they are just dummy lnks for testing the layouts on the links and the module settings page.

For articles and uploaded files I cant say whay they wont work
But try another time to upload all the files from the manuall TP package here http://www.tinyportal.net/smf/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item443

Extract the files and upload them to your forum and overwrite the old files again. This time, please use another ftp program.
Try FileZilla.
Download it from here and install it. http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=21558

fugi

I don't thing ftp client.
I uploaded with both WinSCP from Windows
and through ssh from Linux (and as u know Linux doesn't make errors :) )
Anyway I'll try once again and try to find what went wrong and come back with feedback.
Thnx for the help

fugi

When I try to load Link manager from my Admin panel
I get an error "Unable to load the 'main' template"
Is this what supposed to happen -is it also dummy? -
or it should load sth?
